Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar

    Your journey begins as you arrive in Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir, where a representative will greet you at the airport. From here, you will proceed to check in to a charming houseboat, an experience unique to Kashmir. In the evening, you will enjoy a Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, gliding through the calm waters while taking in the breathtaking reflections of the surrounding Himalayan mountains. The day will conclude with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 2: Excursion to Sonmarg

    Itinerary:
    After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic day trip to Sonmarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold, named for the golden hue cast by the setting sun on its peaks. The journey will take you through lush meadows and towering coniferous trees. You will also witness the majestic Sindhu River, famous for trout and mahseer fishing during summers. The day will be filled with breathtaking views of Himalayan glaciers and rolling meadows, offering a truly mesmerizing experience. By evening, you will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Srinagar

    Post breakfast, you will check out from the houseboat and begin a day of local sightseeing in Srinagar. Your first stop will be the Shankaracharya Temple, a 3rd-century BC temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located 1100 feet above the valley. Legend says the philosopher Adi Shankaracharya stayed here, lending the temple its name. Next, you will visit Srinagar’s famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh, Chasmeshahi, and the Tulip Garden. Surrounded by Himalayan peaks, vast green lawns, intricate fountains, and vibrant flower beds, these gardens are a feast for the senses. By evening, you will check in at your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg

    After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg, a paradise of meadows, pine forests, and snow-covered peaks. Upon arrival, you will experience the Gulmarg Gondola, the second-highest and second-longest cable car in the world. As you ascend the mountain, the panoramic views of the valley will leave you spellbound. During winter, Gulmarg transforms into a winter wonderland, perfect for skiing, snowball fights, and snowman building. After a day of adventure, you will check in at your hotel in Gulmarg for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Gulmarg to Pahalgam

    After an early breakfast, you will check out and drive towards Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds. Located at the confluence of the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake, Pahalgam is a blend of green meadows, dense forests, and crystal-clear rivers. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Day 6: Pahalgam Sightseeing

    Itinerary:
    Post breakfast, you will set out for Baisaran Valley, a picturesque meadow located 2 km from Pahalgam. Known as the Mini Switzerland of India, this valley is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, dense pine forests, and rolling green fields. From here, you will continue to the Awantipura Ruins, the remnants of an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. The intricate stone carvings reflect the grandeur of ancient Kashmiri architecture. In the afternoon, you will visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie Betaab, which was filmed here. (An additional cost for a vehicle will apply.) After a fulfilling day, you will return to Pahalgam for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure from Srinagar

    After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards Srinagar Airport for your return journey. As you bid farewell to Kashmir’s breathtaking landscapes and serene beauty, you will take home cherished memories of this magical destination.
